Aw, heck no...

I was sick before? Well, now I'm getting sicker.

I don't have a cough, I don't have much of a runny nose. What I do have is a horrendously swollen uvula. And this can be symptiomatic of an allergic reaction, a bacterial or viral infection, or... tonsillitis.

Now, unless it's a hitherto-unknown allergy that clears up pronto, I'm screwed. Why, you ask? Well, for one thing, it means a trip to the doctor, which means I have to hear the lecture about my weight before the doctor even bothers to examine me to find out what's wrong with me. (Trust me. I know from experience.) Second, next week is finals week, and if I have to stay home or if, god forbid, I need surgery... well, that's just Not Good. And third... my dad might just have cancelled our medical coverage 'cause he's moving to New York.

I really, *really* hope we don't wind up with an uninsured surgery bill. 'Cause if that happens... oy.

Well, the swelling's gone down a bit. Or, more precisely, the swelling went down completely, and then came back, but not quite so bad.

With any luck, it's just an allergic reaction to the strawberries I made mom buy me, or something.
