Dammit. Dammit dammit dammit dammit dammit.

I missed 3,000. I missed 4,000. I missed 4,200. And I promised myself -- promised myself -- that I would not miss 4,242. I swore it. Because after that, there are no numbers that matter anymore. Not even 5,000 matters as much as 4,242.

But I missed it.

Gods, I suck.

Jenny, 5,000 has great Discordian significance, being a direct multiple of five.

5,555 is going to be particularly special.

Don't worry about it.

I don't know.. seems to me that it's the kind of thing where it's like.. "hey, that's kind of neat", but it doesn't have any great universal importance.

And really, if you think about it, aside from 4242, it's a pretty arbitrary thing to begin with.. why do we put so much significance on numbers that are big and round? Comment number 5000 is just as significant as number 4999, and number 5001.

Hey, cool, I've got comment number 7,579!

I worry about stupid stuff just so I WON'T think too much about pollution and suffering and the fact that someday I shall die and it could be five minutes from now or five decades from now, I just don't know. :P
