Jenny digs little plastic robots

I am slightly disappointed to discover that it is indeed the same one as offered on Cartoon Network's site. However, now that I look at it, a lot of the things I dislike about it (such as the 'TAILGATE THIS!' mudflaps) can be fixed with some paint and some patience. I have both. Therefore soon(ish) my Megas will have GIRLIE MUDFLAPS like it's damn well SUPPOSED TO.

And now I switch to my digicam upon realizing that the webcam just ain't gonna do it.

For you see, I already owned a small plastic robot. So the question becomes, then: WHO WILL WIN???

The contenders: mini-Megas and the small plastic Iron Giant.

Mini-Megas is equipped with a number of combat-enhancing features, including flame decals that make him go faster.

The small plastic Iron Giant, on the other hand, still has glue on the bottoms of his feet from when I had him stuck to my monitor back in California, as well as the ability to sit down.

Now that we've met our contenders... let's see... WHO WILL WIN!!!

...

Oh, look, they've decided to have a tea party instead. That's so cute.

Oh my goodness - I haven't seen those glass teacups outside a school environment before. Whenever there was a parents' evening, the tea would always be served in those teacups.

*manages a grin for the first time today* Megas..at a tea party...Thanks..I needed that..

I'm not much of a tea guy. So perhaps I am wrong. But that looks like water to me.

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
What, I should bother making tea just for one picture? :P

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Tea... at school? Instead of cheap punch in styrofoam cups? I disapprove. Of something, anyway.

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I am happy to oblige.

[identity profile] steaksammich.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 04:47 pm (UTC)(link)
If it's going to be a tea party, yes!

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 04:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't have time to make tea! I had to get to the bookstore and stuff!

You're just too picky. And mean. I don't like you anymore.

Maine Robot x Jersey Robot 4EVER!!1! *gigglesnort*

[identity profile] aristide.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
That is.. far too amusing.
And the last picture made me choke, I giggled so hard.

[identity profile] psykoghoti.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
XD

Man.. today sucked hard.

You are my hero(ine) for at least ending it on a thoroughly entertaining note. :D
Is it alright if I link to this from my journal?

Hooray for making people choke! I think.

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Absolutely. If I don't want people to link willy-nilly to my stuff, I'll just put it friends-only so it does them no good! Ha! Ha-HA, I say! And such. You'll have to excuse me, I just had some ice cream so I'm all sugared up.

[identity profile] steaksammich.livejournal.com 2004-09-15 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not mean! If it makes you feel better that was the best post on my friends page today. Perhaps this week. And maybe even this month! And while the "tea" may not look very appetizing, the cookies look scrumptious.

I maintain it's entirely possible to have a tea party without tea. The essential ingredient is the Nice Sugary Things. I don't like tea, but I do like tea parties...

[identity profile] wing-zero-ew.livejournal.com 2004-09-16 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
A tea party without tea?

Blasphemy. Even if it's pretend tea, you must have SOME sort of tea for it to be a tea party. Otherwise, you're just a pervert.

[identity profile] steaksammich.livejournal.com 2004-09-16 10:08 am (UTC)(link)
I've never actually been to a tea party. But I've always kinda assumed that for a -tea- party you need -tea-.

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2004-09-16 11:04 am (UTC)(link)
It is a well-known fact that when little girls are having tea parties with their stuffed animals, they do not necessarily use tea. It might be juice, punch, Kool-Aid, water, or even empty glasses -- but mommy doesn't always want to make tea just for little Susie to share it with Mr. Bunny and Pooh Bear.

SO NEENER

[identity profile] steaksammich.livejournal.com 2004-09-16 01:44 pm (UTC)(link)
A well known fact for girls maybe, but when a guy hears about a tea party he expects there to be tea! That's like inviting GI Joes over for a gun fight, but not giving them their little plastic guns.

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2004-09-17 11:29 am (UTC)(link)
PLASTIC guns! Not REAL guns! And thus WATER, not REAL TEA!

Like, duh.
