Next time I mention the fact that most people in the world hate me without even needing to know anything about me besides exactly one physical characteristic... don't disagree. It's kinda obviously true.

Yes, but:

1) Do YOU think you're fat?
2) Do you feel that you need to change that?
3) Are you willing to do something rather than hoping it goes away on its own?

If you answer yes to all of those, then perhaps it's time you make a change. I recommend The Hacker's Diet, the full text of which can be found online with computer tools and explanations of all sorts of things that so many people try to diet without understanding. Otherwise, you should be content with who you are. I'm perfectly content with who you are. If that means anything to you. ^_^

1) Yeah. I don't think it should automatically be an insult, merely a descriptive term, but see where THAT line of thinking gets me...
2) For myself, no. As ever, all the numbers but the one on the scale are great -- blood pressure, cholesterol, blah blah blah. The only thing that *was* bad was my glucose and I got that fixed without dropping a single pound.
For other people, well. The pressure sometimes makes me want to take a rifle to the top of a belltower somewhere. ...hmmmmm... and the Metz Carillon is just a short walk away...
