The permanent top-of-the-journal post currently says:

Dateline July 4, 2017:

Hello.

This Dreamwidth contains all the posts from my old LiveJournal, which ran from September 2000 until, er, right about now.

There will be broken links, and broken images, and other such confusions.  I will probably fix these at some point.

If anyone follows me along from LJ to here, know that A) I do not know when I might begin updating this DW regularly; but B) I may be able to help you find a post or correct broken images as requested, and C) I may be willing or even quite happy to actually talk to you if you attempt to communicate.  It depends who you are.  There are people who I miss talking to, and then there are the people who were literally kind of cyberstalking me.  If I eventually get around to responding to any kind of comment from you, there's a decent chance that you're more in the first bucket than the second.

Please note that the opinions represented here are solely the opinions of the me of the past and do not necessarily represent the opinions of me of the present.

That's all for now.  I hope you have a nice day and find five dollars tomorrow.

Click the "backdated" link on the entry page and it won't show up on friends' lists. Mine didn't, anyway.

Your posts from the future should tell me more things about the lottery and such.

See, if I did that, then that would just make it too easy for you, wouldn't it?

Hiya!

It's nice to e-meet you!

Why not check out my user info and see if we don't have enough in common to add me as a friend? I think you'd be interesting to talk to. :)

Take care,

Joy

Jenny,

I have a good friend just south of Madison. His daughter just graduated from U Wisconsin. He said they would be happy to help you with your relocation and you could even stay with them until you find a place. See you in June.

Epic actually pays full relocation, and provides temporary housing for new employees until they get settled, so we should be all right just leeching off of their generosity. I do appreciate the offer, though!

Have been following the development of Jenny Rowland's creative work for quite some time. In all media, Jenny excells and her work is noteworthy. Jenny's Dad must be busting his buttons with pride. Jenny must be doin' him PROUD. Qesher (Svyaz' in Russian, Nderlidhje in Albanian, Vinculo in Spanish).

Er, uh. Thanks, I guess, o anonymous one?

Hi from someone who wondered what you'd been up to since ending Snail Dust.

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2010-12-03 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, various stuffs, really. Did (the art and website for) another webcomic for a while, then stopped. Finished my college degree, became something resembling a responsible member of society. The somewhat spotty post history on this LJ over the last couple of years probably indicates how much of my time the whole "work" thing tends to take up.

Truly, excitement abounds.

My cousin recommended this blog and she was totally right keep up the fantastic work!

Yo! pfft pfft is this on? I don't ...

So, well, I'm going through old notes and the original scribbles about the Toon-o-Matic came up and I got all sentimental and thinking about the distant past and, well, here you have a LiveJournal! And you are otherwise very difficult to find.

So. How's life?

RE: Yo! pfft pfft is this on? I don't ...

[identity profile] napoleonherself.livejournal.com 2016-04-21 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, so that's terrifying, because literally last night as I was getting ready for bed, I srarted getting randomly nostalgic about Toonbots. I was trying to remember the specific product that Lenin shilled. It was Lenin, right? What was it, pickle breakfast cereal? Those were the days.

The 2013 post above is basically still more or less accurate, I guess. I have a nice job at CUNA and I'm mostly playing NetHack instead of Sims 2, but I still have a book in (slow) process. I also have a pet snake now. I spend most of my online time on tumblr, not under my own name, so I'm less googleable these days.

If you see this, it means I remembered my password. I hope I did, because I'm typing this out on my phone and it takes forever!
