I was so afraid that I'd never get my very own pint of Black and Tan, as they more or less yanked it off the market after the public embarassment in March. For those who haven't heard the story, Ben and Jerry's wanted to make an Irish themed ice cream for St. Patrick's day, so they made a boozy flavored one based on a mixed drink made in part of Irish beer.
Unfortunately, the very similarly named 'Black and Tans' were a ruthless bunch of murderous thugs employed by the British during the Irish war for Independence. So the Black and Tan ice cream didn't go over well, on what is more or less the official Irish national holiday.
Thank the dark gods for the incredibly crappy Target, which I know, from working there, has seriously screwed up stock rooms, and so probably ordered 10 times more ice cream for March than they needed to, and so, months later, I get my very own terrorist ice cream. Sw33t.
