Our Whole Foods is actually pretty hippy-dippy when it comes to patrons' vehicular choices. You see some SUVs and such there, but there's also a good smattering of mopeds and Priuses and hybrid Camrys and so forth. There's even hybrid-only parking spaces, which are usually full (and actually of hybrids even). That's Madison for you, though.
