Um, yeah.

Blah... I'm sick. I'm sick and I'm staying home today. Although I'm not staying home because I'm sick. I'm staying home because there's an assignment due today, and I realized at 10:00 last night that I'd done all my math for it wrong and I would have to start all over again. Feh. 'Least we only lose one point for each day it's late... like losing two points will hurt me. Oh, no! I might get a low A instead of a high one! EEEEEEK!

So in conclusion, I am sick. And staying home.

(no subject)

Aaaack... I just deleted one of my LJ userpics to put in something concerning tCoB, and THEN realized I had no local copy of the poofed image.

*cries*

Woo!

Never mind! Found a copy in the recycle bin! Whee!

I like not losing files. It's fun.

Props to da Brutha

Am I the only one who thinks this is a very very very funny sentence when taken out of context?

"Besides, as far as I can tell, Napoleon hasn't defenestrated anything lately except Pat Buttram's head[...]"

*whew*

My dad just brought over an almost-complete, mint-in-box, first-run, potentially-valuable set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figures.

My (16-year-old) brother began crying and shouting when I maintained that he should hold off on ripping them open, on the off-chance that they were actually worth something.

Sheesh.

It took about an hour, but finally I hit on the solution -- if he wants Turtle toys, why not give him my own set? He didn't want them for collector value -- he just wanted to play with them. Or to hold them, as he tearfully asserted several times. Yeesh. So now he has my decade-old, much-played-with, and monetarily worthless set, and he's happy. And the MIB shiny toys are safe.

...I hope.
