I love a mystery!

Just now a UPS truck stopped outside the house. And then I heard someone come up the steps. And then someone knocked at the door.

A package had been delivered. For me. Not from a person, but from a company. One I don't even do business with.

Hmmmm.

I pondered at the box for a minute, then decided to go ahead and open it -- there wasn't an invoicey bill type thing on the outside, so probably we weren't going to have to pay for whatever it was if I opened it. Although there would've been return shipping, hadn't thought of that. But ah well.

Then I saw that there was a web addy on the label. So I went to the addy. However, the site gave no clue as to what might be in the box.

So I gave up and opened it.

Inside I found... paper. And more paper. Lots of paper. And, underneath all the paper, at one side of the box...

Chocolate. Monty Python chocolate. Chocolate dead parrots, and chocolate braaaaaaainsargharhgahrgahghaghgh.

I have no idea why [livejournal.com profile] thomsirveaux saw fit to send them to me, but he did. And I'm very mean to continue not doing something about a Christmas prezzie for him, as well as for all the other people who were gonna get something from me...

But I will eventually.

Meanwhile, *showers Derek with pi-to-the-42nd-power kitties*
