Oh, yeah

And I HATE emails claiming that for every time it's forwarded, three cents get donated to a medical research fund in the name of some imaginary kid dying of cancer. There are no web bugs anywhere in that mail, folks, it is plain text, there's no possible way it could be tracked by these imaginary humanitarians. Duh.

My mom falls for and sends out every email scam she gets. Some people will never learn

My mom used to open every piece of mail she got till I finally convinced her that no, the nice people weren't REALLY offering her a free vacation...

The only thing I hate more are the people who keep sending them to me and then get upset when I say I don't want them. It's not like I'm refusing to help sick people. I just know there are more effective ways to do it. And those STUPID chain letters--nothing but blackmail. "Send this back so I will know how much you adore me." I PUT UP WITH YOUR BULL! That's how you know I adore you. Get a clue.

What's REALLY annoying is when you have a friend- IRL, even!- who keeps sending that kind of junk, even after you send her an email completely debunking it and explaining just how little sense it makes.. @_@
