Events in polisci have shown, once again, that I just need to learn to keep my goddamn mouth shut.

Over and over again I claim to have learned this lesson; over and over again I prove that, no, I haven't. I haven't at all.

Few things compare to an entire classroom of people glaring at you and repeatedly shushing you while you talk stupidly on.

Stupidly, or intelligently but unwisely (making a statement, a true statement, but to the "wrong audience" at the wrong time?)
I'm curious... sorry...
I had some interesting experiences back in high school and my politics were... inchoate then...
anycase, I shouldn't overrate the importance either of these experiences or of what a group of fools think of you. But that is my own and not very wise opinion.

Class was told that we had to complete and turn in the worksheets at the back of one of our textbooks.

Most of the class didn't get an edition of the book that HAD the worksheets.

The instructor is just the kind of guy to make everyone buy the edition that does, and never mind that they've already forked out forty bucks. So I figured I could save everyone money, and offered to hook them up with Xeroxes of mine.

Stupid. Very, very stupid. Shut up, don't try to help, nobody wants your help. I need to remember this. That, and 'don't speak unless spoken to'. Maybe then I won't screw up so often.
