"The facts in Iraq have an anti-Bush agenda." - The Daily Show

How can anyone who actually thinks seriously be a Republican? What logic is there behind "oh, yay, this guy thinks poverty is a sin, I will vote for him for President"? How mature is it to respond to Sudan's scolding us over actions in Iraq by demanding that Sudan be yanked from the UN? Whether it should be yanked or not is not the issue. Calling for the yanking just as they protest? Um, yeah, most of us grew out of that whole play-my-way-or-I-whine-to-teacher thing in elementary school.

Someone explain to me why completely fucking over a country in the name of "democracy" when we don't even have that here is an intelligent thing to do. Also helpful: explaining how it is that if Susie and Bobby get married then it's cool, but if Susie and Janie get married then you personally have been hurt. Also also helpful: explaining why your religion gets to decide what everyone else does, because after all, that whole "separation of church and state" thing was just a big joke anyway. No, really. They totally had a giant laugh after Jefferson drunkenly scrawled it in.

Republicans. Oy.
(or at least the people they choose to represent them.)

what i don't get is why canada's waaay ahead of the states on the whole same-sex marriage thing when we don't even have seperation of church and state up here.

Hey, you should know that it was Madison, and he didn't remember to scrawl it in, rather he wrote it in the snow with his...... err..... hiya.
