Reminds me of a joke I came up with once.

If a polygon is a shape with more than one side (poly = >1) then it stands to reason that a monogon would be a shape with only one side, or a line.

I'd go around using monogon in place of the word line in pretty much any situation, I.E., "Man, I hate standing in monogon at the grocery store", or, "Help, I can't remember my monogon!"
