Two hours until my connection dies (MSN, six-hour connect timeout, standard operating procedure for the Evil Empire's connectivity division). Once I'm booted, I'll close everything up, shut down, and unhook the old hard drive for the last time. Am I being a loser, feeling nervous about this? "No, there's plenty of other ways you're a loser." Shut up. "Make me." *click-BOOM* Now, where were we...

I'm reading Stephen King's latest novel. Dreamcatcher. Came out yesterday. I'm not sure what importance the dreamcatcher itself has yet, but the book is being pretty good. There's UFOs! I like UFOs. Oof-ohs. And there's nice little references to King's other books that are wonderfully gratifying for a slavering fangirl like me to read. I'd like to be reading it right now, actually -- there's stuff going on, and it's big stuff, and I wanna know more about Duddits, dangit -- but I'm technically writing my midterm essays right now. Two essays, total of 1100 words... almost insultingly easy, really. It's just that it's so hard to make myself actually do it.

Hour and 45 minutes now till DD-Day. Drive Disconnect Day. I just made that little acronym up. Aren't you proud of me? Suuuure you are.
New harddrive's hooked up, old one's sitting in the bag the new one came in. Anything I left behind? Fergiddabootit. Gone. History.

Well, unless I decide I really really need it, I guess.
