Norman chewed through the other computer's phone cord again... we really should find some sort of solution for that. This is only about the sixth time he's done it.

Norman is my cat. He's crazy. In fact, you might even say he's a bit psycho.

My brain for some reason had me on a schedule a half-hour earlier than my usual, so now I'm alll completely ready to go to skull and it isn't even leavingtime. Feh. Be nice if I could distribute some of the extra time from this morning to other days when I'm running late...

Woo!

The nice UPS man just left me my McSweeney's book!

It's a book that has TMBG music with it, for those who don't know. Beyond that, even I don't know. I haven't actually opened it yet except to look at the CD. Here is what the CD says on it:

"This CD was going to be left blank, because it is a pretty thing when blank, but then we remembered how likely you were to leave it atop your stereo, uncased, and thus how likely it was that you would then forget what this CD was, exactly whose music was on it (in it?), and then you would maybe even go and record over it -- songs by other bands even -- using some terrible new software, and in doing so make us all sad. So we put some words on it. This. Hi."

I love it already.

Sigh...

...that lovely beautiful McSweeney's disc just crashed my system.

And then it wouldn't eject even when I jammed a pin in the hole.

It seems to be working now, but I am nonetheless concerned.
Does anyone know anything about a website detailing a project where someone had gone out and given homeless people disposable cameras, then posted the pictures those homeless people took?
