Yeah, figures. When I was at place 2,000something in the Elfwood queue, it moved 500 spaces in a night. But when I'm at place 499, it only moves 130 slots. *grumble*

I had a dream last night that those... um... whaddayacallems, I forget the name already... those spooky black-robed shrieking ghostie bad guys on horses from the LotR movie... got loose on my campus. So everyone was either fleeing or hiding, even though we all knew that the bad thingies would get around to killing everyone eventually. It was only a matter of time.

Now I'm awake and tired and my tummy hurts and my shoulder REALLY hurts. But I got an email from someone from whom I didn't expect an email (the good kind of getting-when-not-expected). But there's a bit of the email that makes me sad. Although other bits of it make me happy. And la la la ding blah. Bork.

MR. SATURN IS MADE FROM PEOPLE z00m!

Grumble.

So I decide to try OpenCanvas even if it is in Japanese and not free -- might be fun to play with for the trial period.

I download it. WinZip won't read the file.

So I download another unzip client that someone else mentions on their page about OpenCanvas. And it won't extract. It claims to be doing so but the target directory is blank.

Grumble.

On the upside, happy Pi Day! Pi day will be fun in 2016.

Ticket #13369 is currently in place 249 out of 1914

Queue's gettin' shorter but it ain't movin' much faster... ah well.
My Elfwood ticket managed to get processed early (200 slots early, in fact, which made me think it'd been deleted till the email came through fifteen minutes later), but they rejected one of the pictures. So I have to submit again. Right when the queue's gotten incredibly much slower.

I am... upset. Very. I'm sick of waiting to exist.

So now la de dah, I shall resize the picture again and spend another half hour getting it to be under the size limit and then reupload and wait another two weeks and then wait for them to have some other reason to reject me...

*bites Elfwood*

Ah well. Sometimes you bite the site that's offering you space out of the kindness of its digital heart, sometimes it bites you. So it goes.
Confidential to swbell.net person who followed the Snail Dust link on my LJ: I'm waaatching you. *cackle*
