On the elevator up to my class today, I noticed a woman with a cart, upon which was a chimp skeleton. "Oh, is that for the honors class in a few minutes?" I asked. It was indeed. This is how I found myself entrusted with the skeleton, wheeling it across fifth-floor McCarthy, while our guest speaker went back down to fourth to grab the human skeleton. I want one of those. Wouldn't that be cool? A lifesize replica of a human skeleton, just hangin' in your room, to be posed however you feel like posing it. Could even secure it with string that's tacked to the wall. If I had one, I'd name it Eddie.

But anyway. I was Chimp Girl today. P|-|33r /\/\y l33+ c|-|1/\/\p1n3zz, d00d.

I need to take Math 150B, a calculus class, for my major. Seeing as how I've done no calculus since high school (and I'm in my third year of college right now), this made me kind of nervous. I mean, jumping right into the middle after three years when I think I only got a C in my high school class in the first place? Eep.

However, on Tuesday I was informed that they offer it at Fullerton College (a community college as opposed to a CSU). And that it's easy there. I checked, and yep, they're offering it this summer. And it doesn't start too early nor run too late. And there's still lots of seats open, seeing as the schedule wasn't even up about a week ago. And if I recall correctly, it only costs me ten bucks to take classes at FJC.

Aww yeah. I might have to suffer through summer class, but when it's easier and cheaper* than doing it during the regular school year...

*Cheaper because while I'm still under scholarship, I won't be under that scholarship long enough to complete everything. Paying ten bucks to take calc at FJC frees up one more slot during the regular year which makes one less class I have to possibly pay for if I can't snag another fullride scholarship. See? Cheaper.
Note to self: sometimes the problem is just the floppy.

Especially when it spontaneously loses files in between being read on the laptop, being ejected from the laptop, being moved three feet over to the eMachine, and being read on the eMachine.
