The neighbors hate me. Yes.

So last night I get to sleep sometime after 1, 1:30. Have horrid disturbing dreams all night; thought that the good dream Thursday night meant I was finally done with those, but no soap. Even woke up a couple times during the night, I think.

Then... at 7 AM... seven freaking AM... the neighbors come out into their gods-be-damned driveway. And converse. In tones slightly louder than normal voices. There is also a bizarre, LOUD, persistent squeaking noise. It is even more jarring than their voices.

So there I lie, eyes aching from wakefulness already, so tired it literally hurts, still thinking there's a chance they might SHUT UP AND GO AWAY OR AT LEAST GO BACK INTO YOUR HOUSE, YOU DO HAVE ONE OF THOSE YOU IDIOTS, but their next act of inconsiderateness is to... turn on... the car radio.

Loudly. At 7:15 in the morning. And they then converse, even louder, over the sound of the car radio.

They're still conversing now (7:30; ignore my postingtime, because keep in mind I keep my clock about 10 minutes ahead). The car has also been running for about five minutes. I highly doubt either of them is leaving for another fifteen at least. They're still talking, they're still letting the car run and run and run without using it. And even when they finally get the hell out of here (if they do, sometimes they just like to run the motor and then shut it off half an hour later), it'll be too late anyway. They have already jarred me totally awake.

I hate them. I hate them all.

Today.

The long version )
Short version: I still don't have clothes for my Tuesday job interview, but I do have headphones. I love it when mom forgets that we don't have much money and goes out and lets me buy things.

Tomorrow I guess we'll be hitting up the maul and various clothing purveyors therein. My problem, I think, is that I'm not shopping for clothes the way you expect the standard female to be shopping -- I know exactly what I want. I want that. Dark gray Dickies-style workpants and white button-down short-sleeve dress-type shirt. This is what I want. I don't want to wander around trying things on because they're "cute" or because they match my shoes or some crap like that. Pants, shirt, thank you. Women's clothing stores, and the selections therein, are not friendly to such a mindset. But oh well.

La la la ding.

Today v2.

Short version: I still have no interview clothes, but at least I have food to eat. Tomorrow we'll be trying the mall again, in the morning this time. Hopefully the neighbors will not screw up my sleep again like they did today. Right now they're making incredibly noisy and incredibly irritating clicking noises, but I assume they'll stop before 11:00 or midnight... maybe... hopefully...
I'd be bidding on this.
