It is so incredibly awesome to download a 70Mb video on a dialup connection that only wishes it were 33.6kbps, then find that your computer refuses to accept the codec needed to play it.

I also did many, many stupid things at work today. Too many. I need to stop talking and having fun there. I always do it wrong. Need to go, do work, and go home. Then I won't screw up quite as much.

There was a purchase order containing a memo about how someone needed software that was geared to "addressing the need to repurpose functionality". Um... huh?

Ahh, good, you are having fun watching TV! I know this because it's turned up more than it was before, and all three or four of you are laughing boisterously. How splendid! I'm very pleased for you.

I also have to get up for work in six hours. But it's not like I need sleep to function. Carry on, folks! And don't worry, I won't complain or anything. Because just like you told mom when she complained a while ago -- it isn't you. It must be some other neighbors. You never make noise.
