rrrrrgh

Well, isn't this wonderful. I've just lost power to the other side of my room. Which means I no longer have an alarm clock. (And no, I can't run it from this side, for one thing I'd be afraid of it losing me the power on this side too (although the outlets on THIS side have about three times as much stuff coming from them, so go figure that the outlet that has it easy is the one that dies) and for another I simply wouldn't be able to get it close enough to the bed for it to work effectively.)

Did I mention I have a final today for which I have to be up early, and that without that alarm clock I would never have woken up until sometime after that final was over? It's only pure luck that I'd done my nightly waking-completely-up-for-no-reason-whatsoever-to-stare-into-the-darkness-until-sleep-comes-back thing only a few minutes before this happened.

Of course, now I can't go back to sleep because there's no hope of getting up in time for final if I do. So. Awake at 5, after not being able to get to sleep till about 2, and have final in about six hours.

Yep. Yep, I'm gonna fail.

Edit: Ooh, very nice, I think I might throw up as well. This is so what I need.

Editagain: Heh. And if I hadn't been so brainfogged from exhaustion, I would've thought to check the extension cord where it hits the outlet, in addition to having remembered to check where things plugged into the extension cord. Somehow ye corde came loose in socket. My vote is, pixies yanked it out.

Now to try to get back to sleep for the three hours I have before alarm goes off. ...note to self, reset alarm.
