This is the most hilarious thing ever -- the top result is me, and then there's people named Jenny who memed googlisms of their name and included the stalking thing. I AM FAMOUS POKEY HOORAY
I managed to fall asleep before 4 last night, which was a miracle. Of course, I then woke up at 4. And at 7, I think. And then my alarm went off at 10:30. And of course I didn't get up till a bit after 11.
It really sucks when you're being medicated for sleeping problems and STILL can't sleep.
So today is going to be my first day of work at Menard's. Going in at 3, no idea how long I'll stay. I should take a picture of me in full work-dress-code getup. The apron I have to wear (since I hate vests) is rather terrifying. Especially the little silkscreened "Ask Me -- I'll Help!" slapped in a random place.
I'll only be making $7.85 here, as opposed to the $8.16 I was hired at at my last job, and the $8.54 I was making at the end. But I did the math, and the new pay rate is actually way more over Indiana minwage than the old was over Cali minwage. So I guess it works out, eh? Plus it isn't like I'm trying to support myself here. And hopefully I'll get a lot of weekend shifts, which pay $2.50 more than what you make weekdays. $10.35 an hour is a lot of money for stocking hammers and telling people where the plumbing supplies are.
In conclusion, zzz.
