1. I recently realized that my profile has been absent IM info since c. 2006, when that foul monstrosity TheGreatHatsby first reared its botty head. I still don't want to put any of that info in the discrete fields, but it's shoved in the freetext bio now. THIS IS SO EXCITING TO EVERYONE WHO IS NOT ME.
2. When I was thinking about the relative merits of putting mineable information in the bio versus discrete fields, I started thinking of it in terms of work, e.g. when your doctor writes somewhere in a note that you have been diagnosed with Terminal Explosive Disorder then it's a lot harder to base things like billing or Medicare reimbursement on that than if there is a single "diagnosis" field somewhere that just says "Terminal Explosive Disorder" and nothing else. This is the most horrible thing ever. GET OUT OF MY HEAD, WORK.
3. You know what is awesome? Cheese. Cheese is the awesomest of awesomes. SOME CAPITALIZED TEXT GOES HERE APPARENTLY.
Super Awesome Work Guy and I were talking about getting another trip to Samba organized maybe this weekend. I should float that possibility to mecha. Endless spits of flame-cooked meat are very possibly even awesomer than cheese.
