Plainly an oversight in construction.

So here is a picture from work! There is an entryway to one of the buildings where there are concentric circles tiled on the path, corresponding to the orbits of the planets of our solar system. This week they installed models of the planets, suspended above their orbits.



Can you see why this image makes me sad? Here, I know it's not the clearest, so let me annotate it, and maybe that will help...

Merrick Legacy, preamble + 1.1

Preamble:
This is a Sims 2 legacy using a founder I created, and all Maxis townie spouses -- basically, I've got all ten billion Pleasantview Sims in my custom neighborhood, but no desire to just kill them outright. (Yes, I know I could've started with a blank template. Would you like to re-do all the Sim-creating I did before realizing my mistake? Because I wouldn't.) Some of them get makeovers to not be Maxis-y, and get used elsewhere in the 'hood; but some will be cleverly knocked out of the townie pool by marrying them into the Merricks. No rules on spouses besides Maxisity.

I reserve the right to cheat mildly... no motherlode-ing, but I'll kaching if I think events warrant (example: expensive furniture glitches and needs to be burninated and then replaced), and I've got various pieces of the Insimenator in place to change clothes and suchlike. I also have ACR, the downloadable crystal ball, and Pescado's noeatcrap. (And a ton of other mods, but I can't think of any that are really worth mentioning.)

My default replacement skins are bits of pooklet's My Poor Lover. My default replacement eyes are Bruno's Kylie eyes. Although I don't hugely like them, and will probably switch eventually.

Just short this time, since gen 1 is kind of boring. It looks like updates are averaging around 70 pictures per throughout gen 2, and I think the same is going to be true for gen 3. Not that said updates exist on the Intertubes, you understand; I just write it in notepad++ as I go.
