In the various Sims games, you can buy furniture and stuff from the catalog, and each buyable object ideally has a description. Technically-minded players can make new objects by duplicating old ones and then updating the appearance and/or functionality of the sofa, or the TV, or whatever. And in Sims 2, sims can roll a want to purchase objects of varying costs -- for instance, a chair costing at least $400. One of the more annoying ones is a want for a stereo costing at least $2700, because as of base game + first two expansion packs, there's only one stereo that expensive, and it's HUGE and takes up a ton of room in a house. So I downloaded a very small stereo and edited it myself to cost $2700.
Just now I was poking around the stereo section of the catalog and found a little digital time capsule I'd left for myself.

I derive more pleasure from this than I probably should. It's like, hey, a message from past me! Also, future me, can you try to not fall off the sled so much next time, assuming we get enough snow for sledding this year? Past me's right, all that bouncing down a hard-packed hill hurts like mad.
