Honestly, people. This "if you didn't vote you have no right to complain" bullshit? Please. Indiana always always always goes Republican for the presidency, so my voting for Kerry changes NOTHING. But if I hadn't cast that useless vote, I wouldn't be allowed to complain? Anyone who can justify that line of reasoning, feel free.
Fun fact: the line for our precinct was over an hour long. Line for precinct 31? About fifteen minutes. Line for precinct 10? NONE. The machine was actually completely idle a lot of the time.
Our precinct happens to be the one with a lot of minority students.
A lot of, y'know, blacks.
And we had only one machine for a huge number of people, while other precincts had so few people that their machines sometimes went unused. They didn't even bother giving us a second machine till 4 PM.
Hmmmmmmmmm.
