Damn. They closed Disneyland. I'm guessing you know why (and if not, get thee to a newspaper or a television NOW). According to the girls in my English class who work there, this is the first time they've had to close it in 37 years. All because the idiots of this world can't just play goddamn nice together.

I just typed out a long rant about how this is yet more evidence that humanity is very very stupid. Then I changed my mind and deleted it. Humanity is stupid, yes, but ranting about it won't change that. Hopefully the cockroaches will be able to form a sensical society after we, in our incredible outright cockiness and unassailable assurance of our own superiority, have nuked every single other living organism on the planet into nothingness.

This starting to look appealing to anyone else yet?

And all because "we had it coming". (If you can even fathom that hideous scene of Palestinians cheering.)

*ahem*

Excuse me? Nobody has this degree of crappage coming.

I'm sorry you deleted that rant. I'd like to have seen it.

It was an impassioned verbal assault on the Us v. Them mentality (oh golly, They are after us again, We must defend ourselves however we can becuase it is, after all, in the end, all about Us), American self-centeredness, humanity's stupidity as a whole, you name it. Frankly, I'm glad it's gone. Was stupid.

What I said this morning when I heard Disneyworld shut down:
"You know we're in trouble when Disney closes its parks."

Hopefully the cockroaches will be able to form a sensical society after we, in our incredible outright cockiness and unassailable assurance of our own superiority, have nuked every single other living organism on the planet into nothingness.

They probably will. They'll be able to negotiate lasting treaties with the bacteria and worms and create a highly sophisticated society.
