Forgive my lack of cynicism, but what's so wrong about this? Are you just referring to the bit about 'a PORTION of the proceeds go to charities' as opposed to 'the full purchase price goes to charities'? I certainly fail to see the problem in buying and displaying a flag to show patriotism. I just happen to be too lazy to actually do such a thing myself. It's kinda like my lazy vegetarianism... I'd be a vegetarian, but I'm too lazy not to eat meat.
