Operation Enduring Vindictiveness, more like it.

I'm not commenting on the actual bombing at all, so nobody sic the Office of Homeland Security on me. I'm complaining about the childish attitude inherent in all these 'see, we're totally, completely, 100% in the right here, 'cause we have spiffy names for our operations!' names. Infinite Justice. Shyeah. Infinite Self-Righteousness.

On the plus side, they FINALLY told us why the suspect Osama Bin Laden. About goddamn time!

Sometimes I really loathe not being friends with Scooby-Doo, so I could do things like:

"Let's see who's REALLY behind this President Bush mask!"
"Gosh, it's Some Dong from the Military, bent on war!"

They did? I didn't see that. Of course, I don't get the Sunday paper, so I hafta go off the cheesy CompuServe main menu news bulletins. And I am such a dork that I don't know what's a good news website that won't take forever to load and/or kill me with popup windows. La la la.

Plus side of not knowing Scooby-Doo: not having to contend with Scrappy-Doo's existence. Well, not any more than anyone else has to, at least.

I love the reason why they changed the name. According to Muslims, only Allah can dispense infinite justice. So naming the operation that was kind of...dang, what's the word...presumptuous?

Another plus: the Emmys were cancelled.
