And I love the U.S. Postal Service too! They delivered a package of much shininess from Alaska to Cali in two business days! Now I have a Nine Days CD and a fun old Green Day CD and some string and a piece of paper covered with scribbles which amused me to no end. That piece of paper is my new best friend. Nyah on you, Becky!
Green ketchup is cool. It tastes just like regular ketchup, and the texture is perhaps a bit more mustardy than usual ketchup, but man, the
color... the first time I squirted some onto a plate, I had the unsettling feeling that it was really green paint. Now that the bottle is about half gone (most of that went into me, as the rest of the family is rather leery of this strange new gunk), I'm used to it, and am totally fine with slopping my fries into a puddle of what looks like the ooze from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies.
The part that still amuses me to no end, however, is the fact that it
stains. A
lot. When you finish a plateful of whatever with green 'chup, your tongue is GREEN. Totally. Utterly. I'm getting a kick out of sticking my tongue out at my webcam and making my friends look. My tongue is GREEN, I tell you,
GREEEEEN!!!!!
I'm listening to my shiny new Green Day CD, the name of which I'm not even sure of... it involves hours which are no longer rough and which bear resemblance to a cranky animated squirrel. *glee* I love Chris! Although considering he sent me all this stuff for no real reason, I'm wondering how he'll come up with something even better for my birthday in May... ;)
Oh, my mom almost got me killed today, that was fun. It's Extreeeeeme Driving, new from Headgames! She was trying to merge right, and there was kindasortof a TRUCK there, and, well... if not for the person's honking and my screeching, we woulda gone boom. What was cool was I think I yelled loud enough to pop something, because not two minutes later I suddenly realized that I was swallowing blood. Heh... nice way to discover that you have a nosebleed. And of course I couldn't get to the tissues in my pocket, since it was so far back in my nose that I had to lean waaaay forward to keep my stomach from filling up with blood, and so I had to use the rather damp paper towels from the back of the car... heh. It was fun.
This is where I get to sit and watch monkeys for a couple hours during spring break. glee.
