*sob*

Mom got home last night at about 12:30 and decided to do the dishes. My room is right next to the kitchen. Paper-thin trailer walls. Yes. Did I mention my alarm goes off at 7?

So now I'm underslept, exhausted, stomach's already roiling, back feels like someone's replaced my spine with ground glass, eyes ache...I also don't have the homework due today in chem as I forgot it until 11:30 last night. Stupid stupid. I figured I'd just hit the hay and wake up with my alarm instead of hitting snooze for hafl an hour, and do it in the morning. Stupid stupid stupid stupid.

Gods, I'm exhausted.

Ah, well. Suffer through the three hours of torture school, come home and go dead to the world for a few hours, and I'll be all nice and rested by 4 or 5 or 6 or whenever the shininess comes rolling into SocialMUX.

Heh.

It's probably my exhausted state, but this is amusing me to no end. Hap' bir', Fred. :P

Um... ha?

It's almost funny, really. Got home, decided I'd try getting MSN set up on the family computer "real quick" and then fall into bed... wound up unhooking my monitor and lugging it in there, unhooking the family monitor and then hooking mine up, going through a few fifteen-minute reboots during the setup process... and found that the setup will not stop dialing *70 before each number. Will not. There is no option to uncheck to tell it not to do that. There's nothing. Tried different combinations of connection settings so I could get it to stop being stupid; no soap. Tried hooking up the computer to my line in case there was something wrong with the main line having call waiting; no soap. Tried fiddling around with the computer's preexisting dial-up settings to see if I could fix it there; no soap. Tried the internet connection wizard; no soap. Tried signing on AOL to see if I couldn't maybe download another setup that wasn't broken (I was running out of options by this time); AOL crapped out on me twice. Finally gave up and unhooked my monitor and brought it back in here and put everything back together. So now I've been home two hours, I'm hot, sweaty, and still tired because I've yet to have my nap. Today's theme would appear to be things not being nearly as simple as they seem...

Ummm.

Anyone who could help me with this, I would be VERY appreciative.

My fonts have shrunk.

No, seriously. The wheel on my mouse barfed and started resizing a line of text on a webpage instead of scrolling. I boggled at this, then put it back to normal and restarted in the hopes that things would be fine when I came back.

They aren't.

If ANYONE can tell me how to fix this, I would be VERY appreciative. I already have trouble reading the screen sometimes. It's even harder when everything's one size smaller.

[Edit: Bryy is a minor god. Problem solved.]
