Dec. 5th, 2001 01:01 pmIf you're going to take over the world with an armies [sic] of monkeys, you gotta go with the Wizard of Oz monkey army over the Planet of the Apes one. Mostly due to the wings, but don't discount the fez hats. (George MacMillan)
What exactly does 'sic' mean, anyway? I use it and I don't know what it means. Something Latin-derived, I'm sure.
Not sure how I did on today's chem midterm. There was one question where I knew what I needed to do but I couldn't figure out how to get the number that I'd need to do it to. So I just worked out the equation with the number I was given, wrote down the answer I got, and then wrote a little note saying 'I know this is wrong, but I couldn't figure out the right way to do it.' Better'n leaving it blank. Whee partial credit!
Oh, and look at this. I <heart> Tirdun. He's so easy to manipulate into doing fanstuffs for me... errrrr, I mean, hi.
