I'm sick.

I don't have a cough. I don't have the sniffles. What I do have is a scratchy, swollen throat, and a swollen uvula (that dangly thingy in your throat).

I'm a bit worried that it's only the throat symptoms and nothing else. The others might come along soon, but meanwhile I worry. Should I go to the emergency room and get checked for strep throat? Anyone? *really hopes not 'cause it'll cost lots and lots of money*

Mom: "You're going to die a horrible, painful death! MUAHAHAHA!"
Me: "HOORAY! ...wait, no, that's a BAD thing!"

why i'm typing this instead of getting ready for school, i just don't know

I bought some lovely Prismacolor pencils at the campus bookstore yesterday, but they break if I sharpen them with one of my pencil sharpeners. Ergo I hafta sharpen them with my X-Acto. Rarr.

I'm currently reading from one of my textbooks for to write on it. This exerpt really, really amuses me.

"The voluminous writings of [scientific-creationism advocate] Gish [...] are published primarily by Creation-Life Publishers [...] from whom you can also order other authors' tracts such as "God's Plan for Air," "God's Plan for Insects," "Unhappy Gays," and "I'm a Woman by God's Design."

I'd love to read that last one. It probably tells me that God wants to know why I'm not wearing my apron and scrubbing the kitchen floor. In more PC terms, of course.
