Um. La. Stuff. Things. Not sure I feel like typing it all up. Not that anything BAD happened, I'm just lazy right now.
We got another fakennew car. We'd gotten an '87 Cressida after the Neon died, but the bank said they wouldn't finance a car so old, so mom went back and got a different one. '97 Camry. It doesn't have a ghost in the trunk, I'm rather disappointed about this (whenever the radio was turned on or off in the Cressida the antenna's extending or retracting would make a noise that sounded like something knocking on the inside of the trunk; I declared that this was a ghost who haunted the car), but it does have doors that stay open when you open them. Not having legs cut off while getting out = good.
I ordered DSL today. Yep, soon I'll be runnin' with the big boys. Well, not soon enough. The estimated day of activation is the 22nd. Rarr. Also, they're mailing the install kit to me, so if it gets lost in the mail I get to wait longer. Rarr, rarr.
Today was supposedly payday. However, by the time I left, checkage had still not occurred. Perhaps they just hadn't been printed yet. Ah well. It's not like I have bills to pay or anything, and mom doesn't mind waiting an extra weekend for the $100 or so that I'm going to end up owing her after purchase of RAM and money borrowed to get into Disneyland tomorrow.
