I need to post stuff from yesterday, and stuff from today, and I might get around to all it. Might.
Here is some of it.
It seems that everyone (that being all the student assistants who work in the DMC, which is, oddly enough, the room where I work) is ticked off about the new clocking in and out thing. We all agree that it's ridiculous to be told to do this new thing, supposedly to measure our productivity, that causes our productivity to go DOWN because we are busy FILLING OUT SHEETS INSTEAD OF DOING WORK.
Of course, the problem isn't that, if you ask me, so much as it is that they simply do not respect us enough to tell us the effing truth about why they are having us do this. If I were told "there's some concern that people are fudging their times when they write them down themselves, so we need to actually have you clock in and out," I wouldn't have this problem with it. Hell, I KNOW there has been timefudging, so they have every right to do this. But being told "we need to figure out how many more people we need to hire, therefore you must clock in and out every day"... no. No. I'm sorry, but you are lying to me. You don't think of me as someone who is important enough to be told the truth about things that directly concern her. That REALLY makes me want to work hard, lemme tell ya.
Now I have lots and lots of homework, due tomorrow, that I might do. And a comic that I'm sort of working on right now. And I want to watch more NGE. La.
