The Art of Imagination

My mom got me this awesome book; I'll have to scan some pages later, if I can get it on the scanner without breaking the glass. It's HUGE. Eight hundred pages, page size something like nine inches by fifteen, glossy paper, chock-full of images of old sci-fi/horror movie posters and book covers and stuff. Gorgeous. Boy got one for his birthday, seemed notably unimpressed as is his wont, I looked through it and instantly fell in love. Knowing that a book in boy's possession gets wrecked pretty fast (witness my copy of THHGTTG which literally got soaked through and through in salsa via his doings), I expressed desire for my own copy. Now I have it. Glee. Thank you, Sam's Club, for making a book that's supposed to cost 50 bucks or more available to me for only 20.

I have pizza. It is vegetarian pizza. It is free pizza. Mommy ordered it and the person gave it to her for free even though the employee discount is only supposed to be half-off. Hooray! Free pizza is tasty.

Had a test today. Didn't feel I was ready. Apparently I was in fact ready, because I blew it out of the water. I wouldn't be surprised if I got a perfect or near-perfect score. It was amazingly easy. Just the lift I needed after bombing the test in the other class.

For the record, my definition of "bombing" is "getting a 75% on". That is a DANGEROUSLY low score for one such as I, what with the poverty and the existing on academic scholarship and whatnot. Although after this semester I won't have that scholarship anymore, and might actually be getting some of that sweet sweet need-based money, but still. High grades are the good.

Yes, I probably would off myself if I actually failed a test, funny you should ask...

Anyway. sd is done, livecomic is up, I've got an hour before bedtime, and there's nothing due tomorrow because I've got no class tomorrow, only work.
