My friends list has all these phoneposts on it with the transcriptions cheerfully sitting alongside the link. The phonepost on my journal? Nada. You people don't like me, do you. ...either that or it's the mecha's fault. Yeah. Yeah, that's the ticket. It's aaaaaall the mecha's fault.
Why must some people on Elfwood be so very good? They make me simultaneously really want to draw, and really want to never draw again so I never again have to produce something that's nowhere near that good. Mmm, quandariffic.
I wish I weren't so damnably shy. I've been playing Galaxies since early August. I've interacted with dozens, probably hundreds of people -- buying things, selling things, giving and getting skill training, asking and answering random game-related questions -- and after these three-and-a-half-ish months of playing, know how many in-game friends I have? One. And that one is... my ROOMMATE. And thus doesn't COUNT because I was ALREADY friends with ze mecha (as sucktastic as he may be). There's communities forming, there's player cities since the last patch, and me? I'm still the hermit out in the wilderness, alone but for my various creature pets and the sometime company of a big stupid lizard who won't stop proposing unity at me. I haven't actually made one single friend. I honestly don't even remember the last time I made a friend in any setting -- in Galaxies, online, at school, you name it. I do know that the last time I made an actual friend (instead of a sometime hi-how-are-you acquaintance) at school was sometime last millennium.
That was a long paragraph.
I'm tired and should sleep very soon.
And homework done this weekend? NONE. Oopsies.
