Got very little sleep due to A) ongoing sleep problems, and B) having to wake up early to go to health center to do something about said problems. So I started the day off exhausted.
Then came the trek to health center across a snowy field -- snow in some places nearly up to my knees -- that was... I dunno, a quarter-mile, half-mile long.
I found the doctor to be pleasant and actually willing to listen to me, which was a nice change from the HMO assbutts I used to be stuck with. He gave me a prescription for muscle relaxant in case it's a tension thing, and if that doesn't work (which I think it probably won't, but we'll see) then he'll target the whole thinking-too-much-to-fall-asleep-every-single-night thing with happy pills.
Then I rode bus home, played Galaxies for a bit, and realized I'm far, far too exhausted to go to sociology... I'm STILL all shaky from that walk to the health center, which might just be a pure-exhaustion-need-sleep thing except I'm still hoping to be alive enough to make it to programming class in an hour and a half. Therefore I sit, play more Galaxies, and make LJ entries with really long sentences in them.
Note to self: next time you get Cokes from the machine, hide one so you can have it the next day. 'Cause otherwise mecha will drink them all, and you will have none to sugar you up and make you feel less dead. The horror.
