Not bad, not bad. Of course, if only I'd shown up to informatics class more often, I wouldn't've lost like five percentage points just to absences, but. I'm not always that bright.

I am pleased that this semester the four-unit class was my HIGHEST grade, not my lowest. And it's java which last time I tried it I failed, so. I really do like the instructor I had this time around; wish I could get the next java class from him, but alas, he didn't appear to be teaching it next semester.

I wonder if BROOD X is out yet. If so, we shall all surely perish.

More cicada hunting

Well, we found some more evidence of BROOD X today. There are pictures here. Also, there are various nice pictures of non-cicada stuff here.

There is also a video of Sticky LaRue, that I forgot about; it is here. Of course, it is 2.5 megs, and I don't know how much upstream I have, and it's way too dark to see much of anything anyway, but. Also, we met Sticky's distant cousin, Gummy LaRue, on the same tree today:
