I think I'll leave the ` in the title. It amuses me.

Today at work some guy asked me "if I was a thermometer, where would I be?" And as I started to lead him back to where they were I replied "they'll be right back....... I mean, you would be right back here." "Good answer!", said Random Guy.

It's the kind of thing that if more people did it, I would cease to like, but as it was I was most cheered and amused by the encounter.
