A while ago IU blocked port... 7000, I think it was... in the dorms and apartments. So in order to play Galaxies we have to connect to the campus VPN. I named my VPN connection "IU_Sucks".

Mecha and I are discussing Lion King -- specifically, why Scar is the bad guy.

Think about it. Their society is ruled by DIVINE RIGHT, essentially. The ruler rules because he's... supposed to. So if you kill the old king and assume his place, couldn't you be said to be PROVING that YOU in fact have the divine right? If you hadn't been meant to rule, you would've failed.

Also, Scar lets in the hyenas, who appear to have been exiled for NO GOOD REASON, and who provide a necessary ecological function so why the hell were they exiled in the first place. Ohhhh no! He allows the hungry to eat! BAD BAD BAD SCAR

Of course, everything becomes dark and gray and burned out once Scar takes over, so presumably he is the bad guy because he completely altered the climate. That bastard. How dare he make it be cloudy all the time.

All these thoughts are wing_zero_ew's, btw. I'm just mentioning them where other people will see them.
