Okay, so I had of teh crazy-assed dream last night. In this dream, dream-me had dreamed the following (YAY RECURSION):

Some ocean-explorer guy from like the fourteenth century, who had created five (incomplete) sets of fourteen paintings each set telling a story of some guy from his ship first meeting and then marrying a bird(...?), managed to timetravel somehow to where I was, and I had to help him get back so he could, I dunno, complete the paintings or something. I'm not sure. They were LOVELY paintings -- there was this bizarre quality of light to them that was, I dunno, just really cool. He also needed a piece of wood that was four inches by four inches by one inch.

No, I am not making this up.

Fun with IU! Check this email excerpt out:

"To enhance the security and integrity [HA HA HA HA H... oh... you were serious. Sorry.] of the IU computing network, UITS will expire the IP addresses of all currently registered computers located in campus residential buildings [thusly kicking everyone off the Intarweb]
[...]
To get on the network, it will be necessary to run the "Get Connected CD" and successfully complete the registration process [which is long and needlessly stupid]. At Bloomington, CDs can be picked up the week of August 15[...]"

The 14th is a Saturday. The 15th is the Sunday of the next week. So basically the CDs won't even SUPPOSEDLY be in till AFTER they kick us! I love it. Said CDs probably won't exist in quantities exceeding double-digits for days, too. That's just how this place works. "HEY, WE MADE THEM AVAILABLE, IT IS NOT OUR FAULT THAT WE DID SO AT THE RATE OF ONE CD PER FIVE HUNDRED STUDENTS -- YOU SHOULD JUST ALL LEARN TO SHARE"

I am up way too early. But I again fell asleep early, so is my fault.
