Man, I just keep sleeping more and more lately.
Of course, I kept dreaming that I was with Roland and his band of scruffy gun-puppies. It was the end, the very end, some final massive battle for the Tower -- it kept mixing itself with LotR, actually, so there were a bajillion people on horses, and some of them were dwarves and some were elves and one, terrifyingly, was Legolas. (get out of my dreams, you bastard. go jump into the brain of some girl who goes googly-eyed over you.) I was on a horse most of the time and had a machete and sword; if I had a gun, I didn't use it. I was important enough that in one version of the dream my being held up from joining the fight at first caused Roland great concern, but I don't think I was really part of their ka-tet.
I think I had the dream three times, slight variation each time. I kept waking up to my alarm, and wanting to go back down and dream it all over again. I was there, man. We were gonna save the world. Save all worlds.
There was also this guy/thing/whatever that figured in at least one version, who had to keep hopping from body to body to keep existing. He'd have to find a new victim, yoink their blood, and then he could sort of assume their body and go on. Otherwise he'd turn into this nasty spiderthing and sort of dry up. I don't know if it WAS a he, but he was male when dreamme met him, so. He hated having to kill people, I know that. But he was important. We needed him for the fight for the Tower.
There were also roses. Yellow ones, though. I don't think there were any red ones at all. Strange.
I don't know if we won. But I'd like to think we did.
