meep meep meep MEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
Jul. 27th, 2008 07:54 pmWell, thus ends my streak of never having been rickrolled, ever. Sad now.
This weekend we saw a bunch of Epic employees put on something called the Brothers Grim Spectaculathon. It was pretty awesome seeing as none of them are actually actors per se. Mecha has a nice writeup of the experience which you can read here. PS I made his title graphic so if you want to say that it is totally awesome then you may feel free.
In conclusion, meep.1
ETA: Apparently, according to mecha, I was not really rickrolled. I was viewing a video on the you tubes, I clicked a thumbnail in the "Related Videos" sidebar, and footage from the Muppet Show (I think? it had Beaker, which was why I clicked) came up. And then when the audio started, it was whatever song it is that people get rickrolled with. So that, claims mecha, isn't actually a rickroll.
Hell if I know.
Also: I forgot that I wanted to share a joke that someone told at work. See, we all think of the Leaning Tower of Pisa as, well, a tower that leans, but originally it was supposed to be a belltower. That didn't pan out, but recently the Italian government decided to put a clock into the tower. Why? Well, simple( ... )
I smacked my forehead. But you'll notice I'm still happy to share it with others.
1. Not a rickroll, honest. I see them as something like April Fool's jokes, and I think that April Fool's jokes are horrible and hurtful and bad. It's just my favorite Muppet-related video ever, or at least that I can remember right now.
