Laptop... my very own laptop... for five hundred and forty bucks.

The ability to run Sims. The ability to watch TV while being online. If we can ever get the battery fixed (or maybe it's a broken power adapter, I don't know), the ability to do computerstuffs when the power's out. For five hundred and tax. Even MOM agrees that's a sweet deal. And thus I have the go-ahead to see about securing it.

I don't recall the processor speed offhand (it's a Celeron of some variety, but that's all I remember) and am too lazy to dig documentation out of the box. However, I do recall that it has 4.8 gigs of drive space (with a couple partitions in there) and 64Mb RAM. Kind of a pitiful HD, but oooh, lots of RAM, droool.

Yeah, 64Mb is a lot to me. I suck!

I had that up till abotu May of this year
now I have 256....and I know someone who has over a Gig of RAM...*damn*


For a laptop, it sounds quite good for the price :)
