Real content: I woke up with a stomachache. But I also woke up to the sound of rain. Ergo I am relatively happy. Helps that I was extremely and pointlessly cheerful last night, up to about two minutes before I went to bed, when I abruptly mellowed out... wanting something you can't yet have isn't very much fun, kiddies. Nope.

That's the dangers in writing in crytocisms! They're interpretted differently by everyone! And my interpretations involved chocolate and maple syrup!

Over the course of Catch-22, Joseph Heller makes references to "Snowden" or "Snowden's secret", until it is eventually in the second-to-last chapter. There is a little added to the reader's knowledge each time it comes up in the narrative.

This is my (rather convoluted) way of asking if you'll ever explain any of the cryptic references you make, or if they'll be forever undisclosed, much in the way that Snowden's secret wasn't.

They will indeed be explained. Someday. And when I do explain everyone will probably smack their foreheads and go "oh, so THAT'S what she was talking about!" I just don't at the moment have permission, as it were.

Well, I have a few theories, but I'm not sure how correct any of them are. I figured out the Snowden thing a few chapters before it was revealed to the readers, as I recall, but only because Heller makes the secret blatant, just not the story behind it.
