Everything -- everything -- beyond the lj-cut is a sig (with identifying information removed, natch) from an email I just opened. This is very possibly the most annoying sig on earth. Especially since the actual genuine content of the email was ONE LINE.

The Rainbow Connection -- Kermit the Frog

Why are there so many songs about rainbows
And what's on the other side?
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions,
And rainbows have nothing to hide.
So we've been told and some choose to believe it
I know they're wrong, wait and see.
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers and me.

Who said that every wish would be heard and answered
When wished on the morning star?
Somebody thought of that, and someone believed it,
And look what it's done so far.
What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing
And what do we think we might see?
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.

All of us under its spell,
We know that it's probably magic. . .

. . . Have you been half asleep? And have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.
. . . Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors?
The voice might be one and the same
I've heard it too many times to ignore it
It's something that I'm s'posed to be . . .
Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection,
The lovers, the dreamers, and me.

Laa, da daa dee da daa daa,
La laa la la laa dee daa doo...

Yeah, same here... my old sig was four, five lines, and after a while I decided that was way too long. This guy, though...

Or I could go back to, "This message has been brought to you by the girl with a pink lily lamp named Edward." That's only one line! ::proud::

I keep vacillating between my one-line poemfragment sig, my two-lines of URLs, and three lines combining the two. Usually I go with the lastnamed...
At least this sig (or did it?) didn't have any animated jpgs, .swfs, java, redirects, or other fun "technology" in it. One reason why I have my mailcapable browsers turn off scripting in email...

Hmmm...not McQ at all.

Someone needs to draw a little arrow pointing to Perth.

And I thought my geek-code sig was long...

I don't even use sigs.

I think it needed more la's. Nothing is ever good with only 2 line's of la's.
