ever download a 650MB iso you couldn't install? (three times in a row, no less.. first time 'cos I wanted to try linux, second 'cos I though the first was corrupted, and third 'cos the second got deleted before burn-time)

One 650MB file takes six hours at my full bandwidth (333 kbps - 1Mbps/3 comps - router-set bandwidth limitation), btw.

I can only imagine if I had dial-up.

I DO have that terror known as dialup, and 650 megs would take about 3 days if I could just stay online constantly, which I can't, so it's more like a week. But at least I have that download of goodness *pets slackware*
