Mmm, tasty greed.

So I'm thinking of asking for part of a digital camera for my birthday. I'm looking at a model that's a bit under $200, I can get mom to cover maybe $40 of that, which leaves about 160 still unaccounted for. Should I open up ye olde PayPal tip jar and invite sd readers to help pay for my birthday? Granted, it is a good chunk of money, and they did just help buy me my new computer last Octoberish, but. If thirty people contributed FIVE DOLLARS each, that would all but close the gap!
So am I being overly greedy, or does it sound like a good idea? This is the camera I'm looking at, btw.
Edit: actually it's more like this one. Since the xi is cheaper and the only difference seems to be the software and the software that COMES with the xi looks more useful ANYWAY. So, yes. PIE
