And how I managed to go to an open-book multiple-choice Java midterm where I don't even have to write code but only examine 5-to-10-line snippets, find it very easy, finish before everyone else, and still get only a 68%, I'll never know.

Just goes to show. Doesn't matter if I'm acing all the labs and homeworks, I simply suck at programming. And I always will.
