She's got a good point. You can look like whatever you want under that veil. But here in the oh-so-glorious Western World... don't deviate. Just don't. And teach your daughters well: the world has only so much space allotted for you, and it is a cell you must inhabit all your life. Shrink yourself small and weak enough and perhaps you'll have room to breathe.

I'm thirsty. Perhaps I should do something about that.

Nah, no biggie. Not like you guys ever spent any time with me while you were in Bloomington. And almost certainly, one of my old college friends will be moving to Bloomington, possibly even before you guys leave.

I don't like doing things either. That's why I depend on other people to invite me to do things... because that's the only way I get out of the apartment. I just went to Sam Goody and realized that I hadn't been there since I went with you guys... and that was the first time I'd been in months.

We're not gone for a bit. We can do things in the next couple of weeks. Also, you can always visit us in Indy to do things, or have us come down perhaps.

We're just sick of our Uni landlords, me being screwed over by jobs in this town, and they're building a huuuge Informatics program up at IUPUI, which is great for Jenny, plus I've lined up a job that does tuition reimbursement so I can go to grad school more easily.

Yeah, I know. It's not the end of a friendship any more than the Terre Haute/Bloomington gap has been. It just seems like every time I discover that a friend lives in Bloomington, we get together once and then they decide to move away. I guess that's based on only two data points, though.
